She fed everyone she loved

Alice Jean was the glue of our family — a mother of five, grandmother of thirteen, and great-grandmother to more than fifteen. Holidays did not begin until her kitchen was warm and the table was full.

What she made was never only food. A cake in her hands was an invitation: sit down, stay a while, tell me everything. Generations grew up around that table, and the recipes she kept were the quiet thread holding them together.

As Keith grew older, their bond deepened. When he left for college, coming home meant a cake made especially for him — the flavor of being remembered. Years later, when he found his own love for baking, she trusted him with the recipes she had guarded for decades.

AJ’s Legacy Cakes exists to keep that trust. Every order is a small act of remembrance: her hand in the recipe, his hands in the pan, and your table at the end of it.

The Gatherings
Every holiday meant Alice Jean's house — five children, thirteen grandchildren, and a table that always had room for one more.

Each time Keith came home from college, a cake was waiting, baked just for him.

When Keith fell in love with baking, Alice Jean passed her cherished recipes into his hands.

AJ's Legacy Cakes was created to honor her — small batches, real ingredients, the same care she gave.

The Founder

Keith Andre

Keith Andre bakes the way his grandmother taught him — slowly, by hand, and in quantities small enough to keep watch over. He measures butter by feel, tests a crumb by looking at it, and refuses to send out a cake he wouldn't put on his own family's table.

Every week he bakes a limited number of Alice Jean's Originals in Atlanta, then hands them off in person to the people who ordered them.
